Ekatra Events & Media · Event management in Visakhapatnam

The whole moment,brought together.

Planning, coordination and on-ground execution for corporate, social, live, cultural and institutional events. From Visakhapatnam, for a decade.

What Ekatra does

Ekatra plans, coordinates and delivers events: weddings and private celebrations, conferences and conventions, concerts, festivals, cultural and public programmes. The client sees the celebration. We see the venue, the vendors, the timeline, the artists, the guests and the hundred small decisions that make it happen.

Guests in formal wear arriving through a glass foyer at dusk while a host in black guides them in.
Arrival is designed too.

Our journey

A decade that continues.

Ekatra Events & Media: 10th anniversary

From a bold beginning to new horizons, our journey has been shaped by people, ideas and unforgettable experiences.

  1. The beginning

    Vision becomes Ekatra.

  2. Foundation

    Events & creative services.

  3. Evolution

    Media capabilities grow.

  4. Expansion

    Corporate & institutional reach.

  5. Creative + Media

    Brand, content & digital media.

  6. Next chapter

    10 years — onward.

Four kinds of rooms. One way of working.

Boardrooms, ballrooms, open grounds and auditoriums. The scale and the mood change from one event to the next. The discipline behind them doesn't.

01

Corporate

Conferences / Summits / Awards / Launches / Openings

A large conference hall with hundreds of delegates facing a speaker on a stage framed by three wide screens.
An award recipient in a sherwani walks toward a spotlit podium while guests at candlelit tables stand to applaud.

Rooms where the agenda matters. Registration, stage and set, speakers, technical partners and a run of show that keeps a conference, launch or awards night on time, down to the walk to the podium.

Explore corporate events
A product reveal on stage: crew pull away a large white silk cover under beams of light as the audience films on their phones.
A reveal is three seconds of stage time and weeks of rehearsed cues.
A couple walks through a candlelit heritage courtyard hung with strands of jasmine, guests gathered along the path.
02

Celebrations

Weddings / Destination weddings / Sangeet / Social events

For a family, the day is personal. For us it is also a schedule: a muhurtham that won't wait, décor built overnight, and every guest welcomed, seated and looked after. We keep the logistics out of sight so the family can simply be there.

Explore weddings & celebrations
Two women in silk sarees, one plum and one ivory, laughing as one adjusts the other's pallu beside a floral installation.
A minimalist white mandap on a lawn at night, draped in fabric and jasmine, surrounded by hundreds of candles and seated guests.
Ceremony first. Everything else is arranged around it.
03

Live

Concerts / Large-format events / Artist management

Live events are about flow as much as spectacle: stages and changeovers, artist logistics, entry and exit, vendors, and the coordination with venues and authorities that keeps thousands of people safe.

Explore live events
A vast outdoor concert crowd with raised hands and phones, facing a stage firing light beams through haze and confetti.
Looking up at a concert lighting rig, beams cutting through smoke above a lone performer with arms raised.
A coastal evening festival: crowds walking between lit bamboo stalls and palm trees toward a stage by the sea.
A festival is a small town for one night. Someone has to plan the streets.
A classical dancer in a maroon silk costume mid-pose under a single spotlight, musicians with mridangam and veena at the side of the stage.
04

Cultural & institutional

Festivals / Performances / Public programmes / Government functions

Tradition and protocol have their own order. Lamp-lighting and dignitaries, performers and green rooms, community festivals and public audiences: each needs a plan that respects the occasion and still runs on time.

Explore cultural & institutional events
Women completing a large flower rangoli ringed by oil lamps at a town festival, a music stage and temple tower behind.
Dignitaries lighting a tall brass lamp garlanded with flowers at the front of a full auditorium.
Protocol is a schedule too.

  2. SocialA family and all its guests

The guest sees the moment. We see everything around it.

Drag across the stage to go backstage.

From the audience: a performer with arms open on a flower-draped stage as petals fall and guests applaud.
The same moment from the wings: a stage manager on headset cues with a raised hand holding a run sheet, crew with cables and monitors around him.
What Ekatra seesWhat the guest sees

The run sheet. Timed to the minute and shared by every vendor, artist and crew member.

The cue. Called on headset, so light, sound and stage change at the same moment.

The contingency. A plan for rain, delays and late arrivals, written before anyone needs it.

Every detail has a role.

Most guests will never notice these things. That's the point. Each one is chosen, placed and checked because it does a job.

A suspended installation of white orchids and jasmine strands against a dark background.
Florals hung high enough to keep every sightline clear.
A long candlelit table set with linen napkins, stoneware plates, brass cutlery and sprigs of white flowers.
Every place set before the first guest walks in.
Brass diyas and candles glowing along a stone floor scattered with jasmine and marigold.
Diyas placed where no drape can reach them.
Folds of ivory handwoven fabric with a charcoal border catching warm side light.
Fabric chosen for how it holds light at night.
Blank handmade paper invitations with deckled edges, a burgundy wax seal, dried flowers and silk ribbon.
The invitation is the first part of the evening a guest holds.

One event. Many moving parts. One team holding them together.

Some parts are handled by our own team and many come through trusted partners. All of them answer to the same plan, and to one point of contact. Select a part to see how it fits.

One plan. One team. One experience.

From first idea to final applause.

Six stages, one team from start to finish.

See each stage in full
  1. We start with questions. Who is it for? What should people feel when they leave? What absolutely cannot go wrong? Guest count, budget, dates and constraints come next.

Overhead view of a planning table covered in floor plans, fabric swatches, flowers and a scale model of a stage.
  2. A clear idea for the look, the flow and the atmosphere, so every later decision has something to be measured against.

Suspended white orchids and jasmine strands.
  3. Venue, layouts, vendor list, budget and a timeline worked backwards from the day itself, with a named owner for every task.

A large conference hall with hundreds of delegates facing a speaker on a stage framed by three wide screens.
  4. Venues, décor, artists, technical partners and permissions, briefed, scheduled and followed up by one team, so the client has one conversation instead of twenty.

Festival stalls, lights and a stage by the sea.
  5. Our crew is on site from load-in to load-out, calling cues, solving problems early and keeping the schedule honest.

A crew member adjusts a microphone stand while a florist places the last flowers at the edge of the stage.
  6. When everything above is done well, nobody notices it. Guests remember the evening, not the effort behind it.

Guests laughing together at an evening celebration.

Every great event looks effortless. It never is.

An event hall after the guests have gone: chairs pushed back, petals on the floor, stage lights still glowing, one crew member walking out with a coil of cable.

Behind every seamless evening are hundreds of decisions, dozens of people and a timeline that started long before the guests arrived. Ekatra exists to bring those pieces together.

The company was founded in Visakhapatnam in 2016 by Naresh Pallapothu. Ekatra means together, in one place, and that is the job: people, places, partners and plans, arriving as one experience. The team works across corporate, social, live, cultural and institutional events. Planning leads, execution follows through, and the client stays close throughout.

Event stories

Three kinds of evening, told the way we plan them. These stories and their imagery are illustrative and do not document specific Ekatra events.

Corporate / Awards

The awards night

A banquet room that had to work as a theatre for an hour. Clear sightlines from every table, a spotlit walk to the podium for each name, and the whole evening timed around the applause.

Setting
Hotel ballroom
Format
Seated banquet with stage programme
Our role
Planning, show flow, guest movement, on-ground execution

Wedding / Social

The celebration

A courtyard wedding lit almost entirely by candles and flowers. The procession path was designed first. Seating, musicians' cues and the guests' evening were all placed around it.

Setting
Heritage courtyard
Format
Evening ceremony and reception
Our role
Concept, décor coordination, vendors, guest experience

Concert / Public

The live moment

An open-ground show where the spectacle was the easy part. Entry flow, artist timings, stage changeovers and crowd safety were planned so the only thing people noticed was the music.

Setting
Open ground
Format
Ticketed concert
Our role
Artist logistics, production partners, crowd flow, execution

What our clients remember

Rated 5 out of 5

These guys have exceeded my expectations! Their designs and output were on point and meticulous when it comes to planning and execution. Keep up your good work, we'll contact you again for our next doctors training program!

Dr. Vara Prasad, Global Hospital

Rated 5 out of 5

Very patient in listening to our requirements. One good aspect is they showed transparency in the finances part, so that unexpected budget rise did not take place later. Most importantly I will suggest them without thinking twice.
